Aud Sentiments #251 Anything Goes

This adorable image from Di's Digi Stamps was so much fun to play with.  I printed three of these on my laserjet printer - two on watercolor paper and one on standard 120lbs white paper from Staples.  I used my Spectrum Noir Glitter markers and colored the flowers in.  I blended a red, orange, and yellow and they are stunning in person.  They were then all fussy cut!  On the standard cardstock I colored in the hedgehogs, stems, and the jar.  Once the card was assembled I added glossy accents to the bottom of the jar.  I used the Lawn Fawn stitched borders to surround the image.  The sentiment 'Just Because' is from Crafter's Companion and was part of a die set offered on HSN that I cannot locate to link below!  I had so much fun making this card!

Aud Sentiments #219 Anything Goes

 

Thank you for joining us for this week's Aud Sentiments Challenge:  Anything Goes + a Sentiment!  This challenge is hosted by Digi Stamps 4 Joy.  The image I chose to work with is Fusia.

I first started by printing the image on my laser jet printer and then ran it thru my laminator to cover it with a gorgeous pink foil.  Then I colored the image in with Spectrum Noir markers and cut it out from my Brother Scan'n'Cut.  The fun of this card came with the background!  I found a pack of old photo paper (4x6) and wondered how it would play with alcohol inks... would it act like Yupo Paper?  Why, yes... yes it did!  I will have to create a Technique Tuesday video for this for sure!  Who doesn't have old photo paper lying around?!

Happy Halloween - Kitty in the Moonlight

Happy Halloween!  This card was so quick and fun to make!  I did have to layered the die stamps so that the cat would remain once I cut the circle out - but that was the hardest part!  I loved blending the distress oxide inks to create that brilliant full moon.  The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.

Aud Sentiments - Challenge #211 Bingo!

Bingo!  I love the Bingo Challenge at Aud Sentiments this week.  I selected die cut, stitching, and ribbon.  The die cut background is from Altenew and I layered pattern paper underneath.  The 'You' letters are Altenew stamps and die cut as well as the sentiment.  This is such a fun challenge!  Happy Crafting!

It's an Anything Goes Challenge at Aud Sentiments this week!  I hope you'll join us and be sure to include a sentiment!  My card this week is so sparkly and it was so hard to photograph!  The daisies and sentiment (Just heard the good news!) are from The Ton Stamps and the 'baby' die cut is from Winnie & Walter.  The yellow paper is shimmery, I coated baby in glitter, and the daisy have glitter too!  Welcome Baby, Daisy!  We are so happy you joined the world.

Aud Sentiments Challenge! CUTE!

Welcome to another Aud Sentiments Challenge - "Cute & a Sentiment".  This week is hosted by Drawn by Krista.  I just love this little squirrel critter.  The background was made with various alcohol inks, vellum paper, and a hair dryer!  I just love this technique.  I colored in the squirrel with my Spectrum Noir markers and finished off the card with a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp.

Aud Sentiments #202 Masculine

I have to laugh... I had this card on our kitchen island to remember to photograph it and Sean, my witty fiance, came in and said 'Shouldn't it say Happy Feather's Day!'  How cute is that!?

So, this card, using Quackers from Dr Digi's House of Stamps is called 'Happy Feather's Day!'.  To say I had fun making this card is an understatement.  I included the actual image below.  I bought a yellow boa at Hobby Lobby and started plucking feathers on to these little guys.  Then I colored in the beak, eyes, and feet, and fussy cut them out and glues them on top of the feathers.  The background is whipped spackle with warm glitter from Elizabeth Crafts.  The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.

Aud Sentiments - Happy 8th Birthday

I colored the cake in with my spectrum noir markers and added 'frosting' by using Nuvo White Drops.  The background is made by using alcohol inks on Yupo Paper and then stamping balloons with Archival Ink and wiping away the image.  The Archival Ink actually lifts the alcohol ink off the Yupo Paper leaving a 'ghost' like image.  Thank you for stopping by!  And a very Happy Birthday to the Aud Sentiments Team!
