So bored at work.... but creative at home!

I have been very bored at work, so I have been scanning pinterest, magazines, and blogs. 

 I was also able to finally use my poppy die.  

The cards aren't the happiest messages, but I'm very happy with how they came out!

Colored Pencils Part 2

This is part 2 of my colored pencil videos.  In this video, I focus on watercolor pencils.  I hope you enjoy learning about the different types of paper, inks, and water tools you can use on your stamped or embossed images!  Watercolor pencils are a ton of fun and make any card or scrapbook page pop!

Colored Pencils Part 1

Hi Everyone!  This is a two part series on colored pencils!  Here we focus on traditional wax pencils and the products that can be used to break the color down for blending!  Next week, I'll dabble in water color pencils!  I hope you enjoy!  

Three things to remember about blending with colored pencils.... #1 quality does matter.  #2 paper type is incredibly important... stick to 110lbs cardstock.  #3 if you are stamping an image, be sure to use the right ink pad!  Click on 'ink pad' to be brought to a great cheat sheet!
