Creative Knockouts - Sparkle and Shine!

Welcome back to this week's Creative Knockouts Challenge!  This challenge is hosted by Fred She said Designs and this image is Tulip Bouquet.

It was hard to photograph this sparkly card - so it's on a bit of an angle.  The image was colored in with Spectrum Noir Markers and the flowers/leaves were colored in with the Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens.  I added some Nuvo Drops to the watering can to give that a little dimension as well.

Thank you so much for stopping by!   Happy Crafting!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #329

Welcome back to this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #329!  This week I decided to play with textures and I'm so happy I did!  I loved playing with the corrugated background paper and the wood grain paper on the top layer.  The 'hello' sentiment is from Winnie and Walter and the 'to my dear friend' is from Altenew.

I hope you enjoy this week's sketch!  Happy Crafting!

Art Impression's Bunny stamp

Welcome to the Aud Sentiments Challenge #233 Animal and a Sentiment!

A good friend and I recently took a watercolor class with Art Impression's Kendra Krebs at Impressive Ideas in Norcross, GA!  We had a great time and it just so happens that I had purchased a bunny and cat set of these stamps during my Seattle trip a few weeks back.

Today I decided to see if I could use these stamps without an instructor!  I didn't have the scenery stamps like we did in class - but I did have a plethora of peg stamps from Rubber Stamp Tapestry!  They are a great company and are always running specials.  The peg stamps worked perfect my this project!
I stamped the bunny in black soot distress oxide ink and the rest with the LePlume markers.  You actually use these markers directly on the stamp!  Then I used a damp paint brush and feathered out the ink and added some additional color.  Le Plume markers are water based and move feely with a little bit of water.

I die cut the sentiment from a sheet of blue Lawn Fawn watercolor paper and then added all the itty bitty pieces and mounted it all on dark blue yardstick.  I am so pleased with how this little bunny turned out on my first solo attempt!
