2 Crafty Critter Crazies March Challenge

It's March!  In like a Lion out like a lamb!  Welcome back to 2 Crafty Critter Crazies!

How cute is this little guy?  This is Spotted Kitty by Limited Runs who is sponsoring this months challenge.

I colored him in with my Spectrum Noir markers and some Spectrum Noir glitter markers and popped him up on a piece of pet paper I had.  'Hugs' is from Winnie & Walter - and I reversed double side taped it.  When I took off the backing of the paper, I covered it with espresso glitter since I didn't have any brown sparkle paper.

Creative Knockouts #235 Fancy Flourishes

Aud Sentiments #198 Anything Goes

Life certainly is better with cupcakes!  Thank you for stopping by Aud Sentiments this week where anything goes... Plus a Sentiment!

The background is the new Concord and 9th mosaic turnabout stamp.  The cupcake and sentiment are from Altenew.  The cupcake was colored in with Spectrum Noir glitter markers.  The sentiment was embossed with Hero Arts white embossing powder.

Creative Knockouts Challenge #233 Anything Goes

Happy Valentine's Day!!!  Welcome back for the next Creative Knockouts Challenge sponsored by Crafty Sentiments   I just love Toby!!!!  This image is called Toby in a Pot.

I printed two of this image.  I embossed one with the Celebrate border and colored in the flower pot, Toby, and the mushroom.  On the second sheet, I colored in the butterfly, parts of Toby, the top of the mushroom, and the flowers.  I then fussy cut each of those out and popped them up on the base card.  I added some Nuvo Drops and some glitter from the Spectrum Noir glitter pens.

Aud Sentiments #197 For a Friend

Welcome back to Aud Sentiments!  These weeks theme is 'For a Friend' sponsored by All Dressed Up!  Using images of 'people' is typically out of my wheelhouse but I just love how this card turned out.  The image is Fairy magic.  I printed her out on my laser jet printer and then colored in the two bows, wings, and two butterflies with Spectrum Noir Glitter Pens.  I added white Nuvo Drops to the bows.  For the first time ever I used joint tape (sheetrock tape).  I painted it with black acrylic paint and added it as one of my layers in the background.  The 'Love' sentiment is from Winnie and Walter popped up with foam.  I colored it with distress inks, sprayed it with water, and spritzed it with red smooches and glitter spray.  Thank you for joining us this week at Aud Sentiments!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #251

It's time for another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!  I had so much fun smooshing ink - a trick learn from Jenn Shurkus from Creative Journey on Cape Cod!  I used Distress Oxides and some gold Gansai Gambi watercolor paint to make the background on watercolor paper.  The flower is from Penny Black and I colored that in with Spectrum Noir markers and glitter pens.  The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.  Thank you so much for stopping by!  Have a great crafty day!

Happy Valentine's Day!  Will you be mine?  Welcome to Challenge #87!

How adorable is this image from  My Besties?  This is Valentine's Day Image 143.   I had so much fun with all the layers and mediums!  It was a flocking good time!  I printed the image on my laser jet printer.  Then I used a small circle stencil and my quickie glue pen to add dots all over the background and Elizabeth Crafts cool diamond glitter.  When that dried, I used my spectrum noir markers and glitter markers to color in this little critter and the tree.  I added glossy accents to the tree and Nuvo drops to the scarf.  Then I went CRAZY with the glue and the flock!  The skirt and every level of the tree are flocked.  What a good time!  Thank you for joining us at Give A Crafter a Cookie this week!  The team and I can't wait to see your creativity!
