I'm not going to lie... gingham was a tough challenge for me! It took quite a bit of time to find gingham paper and then decide what to do with it! I wanted to do a simple card with a plain background and finally decided to make some flowers! I used the Heartfelt Creations Sunflower die and added a brad to the middle. I stamped a few stems and leaves and used a pop up dot to secure the flowers. The birthday sentiment is from Close to My Heart! I hope you come and join us at 4 Crafty Chicks this week! It has been a great four weeks as their guest designer - I'm looking forward to see what the next guest designer comes up with!

4 Crafty Chicks - Friendship
Welcome to another 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge: Friendship.
I just love this Penny Black 'Fe'line' Die. It is very versatile and I've done a number of cards with it.
I used spectrum noir markers to color in the kittens and then used some distress inks to create the background. I did die cut the kittens on white paper that was stuck to double sided tape - so essentially, the die became a sticker. The paper is a pebble background and the stamp is from Ellen Hutson 'Amazing Women.'
I hope you come and join us! Get your craft on!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #147
Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch! This is challenge #147. I hope you will come and join us.
I decided instead of cutting paper, to create a retiform background and instead of ink, I decided to play with my Pan Pastels. If you have never played with this type of medium, here is a video I have previously posted.
Then I stamped a few sea shells and colored the shells with colored pencils and added some clear wink of Stella.
If you would like to more about retiform, use this link to see a previous video I created.
I hope you join us this week!

4 Crafty Chicks - Bling
Welcome back to another 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge! This is my second week of being a guest designer. This week is all about the BLING! I used a hero arts stamp that I embossed in silver and added a bunch of gems sporadically on the stems. The sentiment is from the Ellen Hutson 'Amazing Women' stamp set which I have just fallen in love with. The 4x5.5" panel was matted on a blue sparkle paper. It's so hard to capture the bling! I hope you come and join us this week for the challenge!

4 Crafty Chicks - Love
I am so honored to have been selected to be a guest designer for 4 Crafty Chicks for the month of February! The theme for this week is 'Love'!
I used Peerless watercolors to create the background. Then I used the Winne & Walter 'Love' die. The die cut is used on another card which I have shown below! Always save your scraps!!!
The watercolor panel was die cut from a Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle die.
I embossed an 'I love you' sentiment and added a few punched hearts.
Thank you for joining us at 4 Crafty Chicks this week!
Now, don't forget to get the die cut! I used it to make one of these cards below. You can, too! Here is the video link on how both cards were made. I always try to make a few cards when I'm crafting, so that I always have a few on reserve if I need to send one out or a friend wants one!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #145
Welcome to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #145!
When looking at the sketch - I kept seeing the Olympic Rings but I just wasn't feeling that! So I started searching around the studio to see what was round and what I felt like working with!
Then I came across this new stamp from Simon Says Stamp and decided to switch up the circles a bit to create some balloons! I typically follow things to the tee, but couldn't swing it this time!
Come and play!!! We'd love to have you!
