Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #201

Welcome to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #201.  This week I was fortunate enough to bump into the 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge of Stencils - so I was able to incorporate the two challenges together.  The background is a tear drop stencil.  I used whipped spackle, added a little bubble gum gelato to tint it pink and then added cool sparkle to it and let it dry.  Then I used the Heartfelt Creations Flowering Dogwood stamps and dies to create a few flowers.  I finished with the Simon Says Stamp 'Grateful' die.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #199

Welcome back to the next Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #199.

I usually struggle with a box type challenge but this card was a definite surprise when it was completed.  The flower is a memory box die.  I used distress inks on water color paper then die cut the flower out.

The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.

Happy Valentine's Day!  

I need a few cards for Valentine's Day and this was my first!  Complete don't just in time for the Rubberneckers second card challenge and the 4 Crafty Chicks card challenge.

I used one of the Rubbernecker's stamp sets, but instead of using the flowers, I replaced it with hearts.  It is a super cute simple card and I hope the recipient will enjoy it!
