Sometimes you just need a 'Congratulations, you're divorced' card!

I guess it was bound to happen.  My statistics for cards and marriages are 'not so good.'  The couple broke up that three engagement cards were made for... The couple married two weeks ago are still married (I did the wedding card and quilled the invitation), but now I have a divorce card request!  I hope this works!

The Christmas Card Club at Stamp and Scrap Nest!

I made a modification to this card.  I turned it into a shaker card! 
I used candy snowflakes that I found at the local kitchen store.

 

This is a pop-up card.  On the inside there is a pocket which I will put a packet of Ghirardelli Hot Chocolate.  This will be used for gifts in the office... you never know when someone will hand you a card and you need something quick in return!

Brother Scan'n'cut makes a girl's motorcycle birthday card!

I found this image online and thought it would be a perfect outline for a motorcycle card I wanted to make for a co-worker.  I converted the jpeg to a svg file using this Online Converter.  I then brought the image into the canvas app and used the outline feature!  It worked great!  I'm so excited with the results.  I knew this would be a tricky card - because, well motorcycles aren't the easiest things to create and I didn't want a simple stamp/drawn image!

All of these items were made for the happy couple!  There are two framed posters for their bedroom,(which include a favorite quote and lyrics from their first dance son), four picture frames (three left empty for wedding pictures), their quilled wedding invitation, and the simple card.  I wish them all the best and a lifetime of happiness!

Designing a birthday card with a vellum cover

I just love how this came out.  The flower paper for the base of the card is extraordinary!  It actually matches a dress I will be wearing to an upcoming wedding.  I used washy tape to secure the vellum to the cardstock.  The flowers are from the heartfelt creations Arianna set.
