You have to love it when your fiancé comes into the craft room and says, 'Oh yea, I need a happy house warming card.' Well... time to change directions!
The background was made a few months ago when I was on a roll playing with alcohol inks and vellum paper. So much fun! The stamp and sentiment are from Close to My Heart. Thank you so much for joining us at Atlantic Hearts Sketch this week!

'You're on cat short of crazy' is correct! Welcome back to this weeks Anything Goes challenge at Creative Knockouts!
Our host this week is Dr. Digis House of Stamps and I chose Climbing Kitties.
I printed the image out twice.. the second one I reversed. I colored them the same (as best as I could) and made the entire image the front 'page' of my card. There is a a piece of transparency paper holding the two images together and keeping continuity of the card and fold. Thanks for stopping by! Happy Crafting!

I had so much fun die cutting all these flowers and layering all the little pieces!!!! I also created an alcohol ink background on yupo paper. If you haven’t played with that technique...please try!

Welcome back to this weeks Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge! I'm glad you made it back! This weeks challenge was super fun! I decided to use pattern paper, which I never do! Then I added some Altenew flowers and the 'Just Because' sentiment. I love the contrast of the pattern paper... I just never use it! I can't wait to see your creativity! Happy crafting!
Mice are by far my favorite critter and I was so excited exploring our sponsor's site Di's Digi Stamps! I selected Poppy Mouse to use for this weeks challenge. I printed the image out on my laser printer and colored in using my spectrum noir markers and glitter markers. I finished off the flowers with some glossy accents. The 'smile' die cut sentiment is from Lawn Fawn. I cut out three and stacked them together to add a little dimension to the card! I can't wait to see what Furry Friends creations you come up with! Happy Crafting!

I've never tried to use an image and create an edge with it - it was a little more tricky than previously expected! Thank goodness for my Brother Scanncut! I printed the image on my laser jet printer, added a wee bit of color to his nose, and then cut and cut and cut.... and layer some paper, washi tape, and rainbow tape, till I thought the card was all set! The sentiment is from a stamp set I got years ago! I can't even figure out the manufacturer! Thank you for stopping by If you Give a Crafter a Cookie this week! The above image is this week's inspiration! Thank you so much to our host Becky's Place. The image used is out of her Cattitude Digital Stamps.

The image, Fairy Kitty, is from A Day for Daisies, the sponsor for this week's challenge. The background was made playing with alcohol inks on vellum and a hair dryer. I can't tell you how much fun this is. I will definitely have to make this a Technique Tuesday video when I get back up and running with videos! It is so unfortunate when you need to send a sympathy card. This weeks card for Creative Knockouts, sponsored by Sparkle N Sprinkle was made using the image Calla Lillies. I printed two images and fussy cut each of the flowers out and popped them up with foam dots. The flowers are colored with spectrum noir markers and coated with a clear spectrum noir glitter pen. I used distress oxides to color in the doily. The prayers diecut and 'Thinking of You' sentiment is from Hero Arts. I stacked three of the prayer die cuts to add a little more dimension to the card. While I am saddened to have to send this card, I do find it a bit cheery because of the colors. Thank you for joining us this week at Creative Knockouts! I can't wait to see what 'doily' creations y'all make!

I have to laugh... I had this card on our kitchen island to remember to photograph it and Sean, my witty fiance, came in and said 'Shouldn't it say Happy Feather's Day!' How cute is that!?
So, this card, using Quackers from Dr Digi's House of Stamps is called 'Happy Feather's Day!'. To say I had fun making this card is an understatement. I included the actual image below. I bought a yellow boa at Hobby Lobby and started plucking feathers on to these little guys. Then I colored in the beak, eyes, and feet, and fussy cut them out and glues them on top of the feathers. The background is whipped spackle with warm glitter from Elizabeth Crafts. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.
Thank you for joining us at Aud Sentiments for challenge #202: Masculine!
I need to stop playing with alcohol inks and yupo paper! They are just so much fun! For this sketch, I used alcohol inks and the blending solution to create the background. I then used three strips of double sided tape and added gold foil. The sentiment 'Lovely' is from a Heidi Swapp die and the stamped sentiment is from Ellen Hutson. Thank you so much for stopping by Atlantic Hearts Sketch #261!
