Baby Shower!

Thanks for stopping by!  Below are images from the upcoming baby welcoming party for a co-worker who adopted a baby boy.  The diaper cake came out adorable.  I love love love the giraffe and how it all came together.  I also love the WPlus9 giraffe stamps!  So cute.

I also found inspiration to create onesie cupcakes - how cute and easy.  I should make a video on both the diaper cake and the hot air balloon cupcake holder, but....

One of her teammates is a photographer and she asked for a gift card... again - I went a little overboard and found an SVGCuts file of a 3D camera.  I was covered in glue - but it came out great!!!!  Sean says to me... 'She asked for a gift card?  And you made this?  You wonder why people don't like you?'  LOL

Also below are the ADORABLE baby stroller hershey kiss candy holders.  They are a crowd pleasers and a wow-factor.  Over the next couple of days, I'll get the measurements posted and perhaps a video.

It is flattering to be told to go into business making these items - if only it could pay ALL of the bills!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #303

By far, one of the hardest cards I've ever been commissioned to create - a 'Horse Birthday Card.'  Much to my surprise, it also fell in line with AHSC #303 and the tag-teamed Double Trouble challenge 'Make it with Flowers'!

I found a horse and horseshow svg file that I cut out with my Brother Scan-n-nut.  The Horse I colored with Distress oxides and some glitter.  In person, it gives it great texture.  I added Asters and a Happy Birthday sentiment.  The background paper is from a scrapbook pack... doesn't the hay just look great?!

Thank you so much for stopping by Atlantic Hearts Sketch this week!

Aud Sentiments #219 Anything Goes

Thank you for joining us for this week's Aud Sentiments Challenge:  Anything Goes + a Sentiment!  This challenge is hosted by Digi Stamps 4 Joy.  The image I chose to work with is Fusia.
I first started by printing the image on my laser jet printer and then ran it thru my laminator to cover it with a gorgeous pink foil.  Then I colored the image in with Spectrum Noir markers and cut it out from my Brother Scan'n'Cut.  The fun of this card came with the background!  I found a pack of old photo paper (4x6) and wondered how it would play with alcohol inks... would it act like Yupo Paper?  Why, yes... yes it did!  I will have to create a Technique Tuesday video for this for sure!  Who doesn't have old photo paper lying around?!
Thank you for joining us this week at Aud Sentiments!

Creative Knockouts Challenge #281 In Stitches

Thank you for joining us at Creative Knockouts this week for our challenge 'In Stitches.'

I love working with these images from Crafty Sentiments... Toby is my favorite!  This image is Toby in Bag.  I printed him out with my laser jet printer and colored him in with Spectrum Noir markers.  Then I created a stitched border and it's hard to see, but I also did stitched balloon strings.  The sentiment is from Crafters Companion.

Thank you again for joining us this week!  A special Thank You to Crafty Sentiments for sponsoring us!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #299

I just love this sketch by Michelle!  I was able to use up some scraps from a messy alcohol ink day and put them to good use!  I played with alcohol inks on vellum and added some gold to it.  It's hard to photograph to catch all those little golden flecks.  The prayers sentiment is from Hero Arts!

Thank you for joining us this week!  I can't wait to see Challenge #300!
