2 Crafty Critter Crazies Challenge #10 January

Happy New Year!!!  When I chose this Fabrika Fantasy image of Cute Toy 1, I could only envision a baby card!  I used scraps from a baby pack I had and created the background.  I then added the Winnie & Walter 'baby' die popped up by foam.  The 'Sweet New Baby' stamp is from Mama Elephant.  Cute Toy 1 was colored in with Spectrum Noir colored pencils and blended with gambol.  Thank you for joining us at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies this month and thank you to Fabrika Fantasy for sponsoring us!

Creative Knockouts Challenge #223 - Get Well Soon

Many thanks to Fabrika Fantasy for sponsoring our challenge this week!  Life was pretty crazy and I'll admit, I forgot about the 'Winter Wonderland' theme!  I believe when I originally planned this out, I was thinking of adding a Santa Hat to this little guy!  :)  Not an epic fail.... but a big miss!

I had Walgreen print this picture for me and then used my brother scan'n'cut to cut around the image.  I cut out the apples individually and popped them up on the wood grain embossed background which was made using glossy paper and distress inks.

Happy Crafting!  Thank you for joining us at Creative Knockouts this week!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #241

You make the world a better place!

I definitely thought outside of the box with this sketch!  I saw a video on coloring tissue paper and decided to give it a whirl.  Of course, this was followed by playing with shaving cream and Ken Oliver's Colorbursts!

The background is tissue paper colored with distress inks and a hint of platinum liquid metals from Ken Oliver.  I then ran my Versamark ink over the crinkled tissue paper and added silver embossing powder.  The background is just so neat!

The planets are cut from paper that was die cut with shaving cream and colorbursts using a Simon Says Stamp die set.  The sentiment is also from Simon Says Stamp.

This was a ton of fun to make!  Thank you for joining us at Atlantic Hearts Sketch this week!

Happy Crafting!
