Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #169

Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!  This week I'm playing with another Penny Black stamp, my spectrum noir markers, and spectrum noir glitter pens.  I just absolutely love this stamp.  Penny Black has a super fun Italian series of stamps and I just love them all!  I hope you'll join us this week at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #169.

Week 1 of the Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge (First Four Days)

A very special thank you to Kathy Racoosin for hosting, yet another, 30 Day Coloring Challenge.

This first five days were a bit scattered but I had to start with the Heartfelt Creations orchid stamp and die set.  I just fell in love with it.  

Here are the first couple of creations.   I laid it all out on the craft table and made a plan...The next seven days will focus on Penny Black Stamps, so stay tuned.  Then maybe some Newton's Nook... Winnie and Walter... and whatever comes up!

The card is super shiny and a wee bit hard to photograph.   I needed a simple wedding card and found the striped paper in my scrap bin!  One must always keep scraps handy!

2016 Graduation Card

A dear friend asked me to make a graduation card for her niece.  I wanted to play with my lilac  flower die and had a ball!

The flowers are two shades of purple and then I dabbled some pan pastels in the centers.

Congratulations Class of 2016!

I decided to enter this into the 4 Crafty Chicks Anything Goes Challenge, too!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #159

Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!  I hope you will join us this week!

I used a Close to My Heart Stamp set this week and played with some metal flake and double sided tape to create the criss-cross lines. 

The peaches were stamped on watercolor paper  in Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored in with Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers!  I really really like these new markers!

Congratulations to my Team!

I can't believe we are going live today!  I wanted to give my team a little more encouragement so I made this card set and matching post-it note holder!

I embossed the bird/swirl background in white embossing powder on watercolor paper and then wet the paper and added some Peerless Watercolors.

The post-it note holders were super easy and I will get the measurements up on the blog soon!

Today is reason I was brought to Georgia!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #157

I am finally able to set time aside to play in my craft room... and I'm making it a priority to return to my normal busy creating self!  Also, I finally can work without my left index finger all bandaged up!

My division start-up goes live on May 2nd and there are just a few remaining items to tackle over the next week.  Then I hope it all runs on auto-pilot!
